Optometrist
Dr. Polsinelli was born and raised in New York. He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of New York College (SUNY) of Optometry.
Dr. Polsinelli received additional optometric training at the Oklahoma City Area Indian Health Service where he participated in hospital-based multidisciplinary optometry. He provided urgent eye care services and extensive management of patients with diabetes, hypertension, glaucoma, dry eye, and cataracts. Dr. Polsinelli finished his training at the Pediatric and Vision Therapy and Rehabilitation division of SUNY College of Optometry where he gained knowledge of the diagnoses and treatment of children’s vision and eye pathology along with diagnosis and treatment of binocular vision and perceptual disorders.
Dr. Polsinelli served on the Board of Governors for the San Francisco Optometry Society. He was a media spokesperson for the California Optometric Association. He loves training in various martial arts. Dr. Polsinelli enjoys inventing new food recipes with his son in the kitchen.
Optometrist
Dr. Miyamoto is originally from Mililani, Hawaii. She completed her undergraduate work at the University of Hawaii at Manoa and the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of New York College of Optometry. She was awarded membership to Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honour Society all four years of Optometry school. She finds problem solving patient’s visual issues very rewarding, especially adults with near vision changes. Dr. Miyamoto is an avid marathon runner and knitter. She loves being the primary tester of Dr. Polsinelli and their son’s culinary creations.
Dr. Miyamoto will be in the office on Thursdays only.
